BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS



Please read these Booking Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before making a reservation at La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort (“the Resort”). By making a reservation, making payment, checking in, or occupying any accommodation or facility at the Resort, the guest (“Guest”) acknowledges that they have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms, as well as any additional Resort rules communicated during their stay.

1. RESERVATION & BOOKING

1.1. All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort.

1.2. Guests must provide accurate and complete information when making a reservation, including their full name, contact details, number of guests and intended dates of stay.

1.3. The person making the reservation must be at least 18 years old and must have the legal capacity to enter into a booking agreement.

1.4. A reservation is only considered confirmed when the Resort has received the required payment and issued a booking confirmation.

1.5. The Resort reserves the right to decline or cancel a reservation where information provided is inaccurate, fraudulent or cannot be verified.

2. PAYMENT

2.1. 100% payment is required at the time of booking to secure a reservation, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing by the Resort.

2.2. All rates are exclusive of applicable taxes and service charges, including the applicable 17.5% tax and service charge, where applicable.

2.3. Payments must be made only through the payment channels and official account details communicated by the Resort.

2.4. Guests are responsible for ensuring that payment is made to the correct Resort account. The Resort shall not be responsible for payments made to unauthorised individuals or accounts.

3. CANCELLATION, MODIFICATION & NO-SHOW POLICY

3.1. Confirmed bookings may be modified subject to availability and the applicable terms of the Resort.

3.2. Except where expressly stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable.

3.3. Cancellation credits, where applicable, are redeemable only within the stated validity period and are subject to the Resort’s availability and applicable terms.

Cancellation Charges/Credits

a. Cancellation 31 days or more before arrival: 100% credit redeemable against a future chalet reservation or other eligible Resort services within six (6) months from the date of cancellation.

b. Cancellation three (3) days before arrival: 70% credit redeemable against a future chalet reservation or other eligible Resort services within six (6) months from the date of cancellation.

c. Cancellation on the day of arrival or No-Show:

100% of the total booking cost will be charged, with no refund or credit.

d. Late Arrival or Early Departure: No refund or credit will be provided for unused nights resulting from late arrival, early departure or failure to occupy the reserved accommodation.

3.4. Any credit issued by the Resort is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise approved by Management.

4. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

4.1. Standard check-in time is 2:00pm.

4.2. Standard check-out time is 11:00am.

4.3. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and attracts additional charges.

4.4. Guests who remain in their accommodation beyond the approved check-out time without prior authorisation will be charged an applicable late check-out fee or, where necessary, an additional night.

4.5. The Resort reserves the right to inspect the accommodation after check-out for damage, missing items or other charges applicable under these Terms.

5. IDENTIFICATION & GUEST REGISTRATION

5.1. All adults occupying a chalet or residence are required to present a valid means of identification at check-in.

5.2. Acceptable identification for Nigerian guests includes:

- Driver’s Licence

- National Identity Card

- Permanent Voter’s Card

- International Passport

5.3. International guests are required to present a valid passport.

5.4. Guests may be required to provide additional information reasonably necessary for security, registration and regulatory purposes.

6. OCCUPANCY & VISITORS

6.1. The number of persons occupying any chalet or residence must not exceed the approved maximum occupancy for that accommodation.

6.2. All overnight guests must be properly registered with the Resort.

6.3. Visitors who are not registered guests must comply with the Resort’s visitor registration and access procedures.

6.4. Visitors are not permitted to remain overnight unless properly registered and approved by the Resort.

6.5. The Resort reserves the right to restrict access to visitors where necessary for safety, security, capacity or operational reasons.

7. GUEST CONDUCT

7.1. Guests are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and responsibly at all times and must not engage in behaviour that disturbs, threatens, intimidates or inconveniences other guests, staff or visitors.

7.2. The Resort operates a zero-tolerance policy towards violence, threats, intimidation, harassment, assault, abusive behaviour and deliberate damage to property.

7.3. Verbal or physical abuse, threats, intimidation, harassment or assault of Resort employees will not be tolerated and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

7.4. Where a guest breaches these provisions, the Resort reserves the right to terminate the guest’s stay and require the guest and/or members of their party to leave the Resort immediately, without refund.

8. PARTIES, EVENTS, LOUD MUSIC & QUIET HOURS

8.1. Parties, celebrations and loud music are not permitted inside chalets or within residential areas of the Resort.

8.2. Night parties are not permitted anywhere within the Resort.

8.3. Parties, celebrations, events, amplified music and similar activities may only take place in designated areas specifically approved by Resort Management and within approved operating hours.

8.4. Guests must not move speakers, sound systems or entertainment equipment into chalets or residential areas.

8.5. The Resort reserves the right to reduce, stop or terminate any music, entertainment or activity that causes disturbance or nuisance to other guests, residents or Resort operations.

8.6. Guests must observe the Resort’s designated quiet hours and any specific noise restrictions communicated by Management.

8.7. Any guest or group that violates the Resort’s party or noise policy may be required to immediately stop the activity and may be removed from the Resort without refund.

9. CHILDREN & MINORS



9.1. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times while on Resort premises.

9.2. Parents, guardians and accompanying adults remain responsible for the safety, conduct and supervision of children under their care.

9.3. Children must not be left unattended in chalets, on the beach, around the lagoon, swimming areas or at any recreational facility.

9.4. Guests must comply with all age restrictions and safety requirements applicable to specific Resort activities.

10. PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEOGRAPHY & COMMERCIAL PRODUCTION

10.1. Personal photography using mobile phones and ordinary personal cameras is permitted, subject to the privacy and safety of other guests.

10.2. Professional photography, professional videography, commercial shoots, production activities and the use of professional production equipment are not permitted without prior written approval from Resort Management.

10.3. Drones and other aerial photography or recording equipment may not be operated within the Resort without prior written approval from Management and compliance with all applicable regulations.

10.4. Guests must not photograph or record other guests, staff or private areas without appropriate consent.

10.5. The Resort reserves the right to stop any unauthorised commercial or professional photography, videography or production activity.

11. PERSONAL BELONGINGS & LIABILITY FOR LOSS

11.1. Guests are responsible for the security of their personal belongings and valuables throughout their stay.

11.2. Guests are advised not to leave cash, jewellery, electronics, documents or other valuables unattended.

11.3. La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort shall not be liable for any loss, or damage to guests’ personal belongings or property.

11.4. Guests remain responsible for their personal belongings while using Resort facilities, participating in activities or moving around the Resort.

12. LOST & FOUND

12.1. Guests who believe they have lost an item on Resort premises should report the matter promptly to the Front Desk.

12.2. Items found on Resort premises will be recorded and securely stored where reasonably practicable.

12.3. Guests claiming a lost(and found) item must provide valid identification and sufficient information to establish ownership.

12.4. Found items will be retained for seven (7) days from the date of discovery.

12.5. After seven (7) days, unclaimed items may be disposed of or donated at the discretion of Resort Management.

12.6. Guests are responsible for collecting found items from the Resort. The Resort is not responsible for shipping, delivery or transportation of found items.

12.7. The Resort shall not be liable for loss, damage or deterioration of items left behind by guests.

13. DAMAGE TO RESORT PROPERTY

13.1. Guests are responsible for any loss, damage, breakage, destruction or misuse of Resort property caused by the guest, members of their party or their visitors.

13.2. The Resort reserves the right to charge the guest for the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing damaged or missing property.

13.3. Guests must not remove Resort furniture, fittings, equipment, décor or other property from their designated location without prior approval.

13.4. Any deliberate or negligent damage may result in immediate termination of the guest’s stay without refund.

14. RESORT TRANSPORT & VEHICLES

14.1. Guest vehicles are not permitted beyond the designated reception/parking area unless expressly authorised by Management.

14.2. Resort shuttles and bicycles are provided for movement within the Resort.

14.3. Vehicles and personal belongings left in designated parking areas are left at the owner’s risk.

15. COOKING, FOOD & BEVERAGES

15.1. Cooking is not permitted in chalets or residences

15.2. The use of gas burners, hot plates, open flames or other cooking equipment in unauthorised areas is prohibited.

15.3. Lodger are not allowed to bring in outside food, beverages or catering into the resort

16. SMOKING

16.1. Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside chalets, residences and other areas designated as non-smoking areas.

16.2. Guests may only smoke or vape in designated areas approved by Management.

16.3. Any damage, additional cleaning or restoration required as a result of smoking or vaping in a prohibited area may be charged to the guest.

17. PETS & ANIMALS

17.1. Pets are not permitted within the Resort

18. BEACH, LAGOON & RECREATIONAL FACILITIES

18.1. Guests use the beach, lagoon, swimming areas and recreational facilities at their own risk and must comply with all safety instructions and facility rules.

18.2. Guests must observe all warning signs, restricted-area notices and instructions issued by Resort staff.

18.3. Children must be appropriately supervised when using or approaching water bodies and recreational facilities.

18.4. The Resort may temporarily close or restrict access to any facility due to weather, safety concerns, maintenance, operational requirements or other circumstances beyond its control.

19. FIRE, SAFETY & PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

19.1. Fireworks, hunting, shooting and the discharge or use of firearms are strictly prohibited within the Resort.

19.2. Guests must not possess or use illegal drugs, prohibited weapons or other unlawful items on Resort premises.

19.3. Candles, open flames, fireworks, unauthorised cooking equipment and other activities that create a fire hazard are prohibited except in areas specifically approved by Management.

19.4. Guests must not tamper with fire alarms, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers or other safety equipment.

19.5. Any illegal or dangerous activity may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

20. ENVIRONMENTAL & CONSERVATION POLICY

20.1. Guests are expected to respect the Resort’s natural environment and must not damage vegetation, trees, wildlife habitats or other natural features.

20.2. Littering, destruction of plants, unauthorised fishing, hunting, trapping, feeding of wildlife or removal of natural or Resort property is prohibited.

20.3. Guests must dispose of waste only in designated receptacles and comply with the Resort’s environmental guidelines.

21. STAFF SAFETY & RESPECT

21.1. La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort is committed to providing a safe and respectful working environment for all employees.

21.2. Assault, attempted assault, threats, intimidation, harassment, abusive language or other inappropriate conduct towards Resort employees will not be tolerated.

21.3. Any guest who engages in such conduct may be removed from the Resort without refund and, where appropriate, the matter may be reported to law enforcement or other relevant authorities.

22. BREACH OF RESORT POLICIESbr />
22.1. Guests must comply with these Terms and all reasonable instructions, safety guidelines and Resort policies communicated during their stay.

22.2. Failure to comply may result in:

- A warning;

- Immediate cessation of the offending activity;

- Additional charges for damage or cleaning;

- Restriction of access to certain Resort facilities;

- Termination of the guest’s stay; and/or

- Removal from the Resort without refund.

22.3. The appropriate action will depend on the nature and seriousness of the breach and the circumstances involved.

23. FORCE MAJEURE

23.1. La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, interruptions, closures or changes to bookings or Resort operations resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

23.2. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, public emergencies, power or infrastructure failures, civil disturbances, acts of God or other unforeseen circumstances

24. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

24.1. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss or damage arising from or connected with a guest’s booking, stay or use of Resort facilities.

24.2. Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

25. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified or interpreted to the extent necessary to make it enforceable, where legally permissible, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

26. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By making a reservation, making payment, checking in or using any accommodation or facility at La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort, the Guest confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Booking Terms & Conditions and undertakes to comply with all Resort policies, safety guidelines and reasonable instructions issued by Management.

La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time where necessary for operational, safety, security or regulatory purposes.

Management reserves the right to interpret and enforce these Terms in the interest of the safety, comfort and wellbeing of all guests, staff and visitors.
